Backflow Testing, Repair and Installation

Backflow Preventers

Many fresh water systems around the world have become stressed, prevention measures have been taken to protect our drinking/potable water. In 1974, the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) came into existence.

Backflow Preventers have been used to stop contamination during a drop of pressure and allowing back-siphonage into the main water lines.  Backflow devices use valves to keep the water flowing in one direction. New Jersey and some water suppliers, require backflow devices in commercial or some private residences where a hazard exists.
